Lumonics Lasers

ECO2 Logo

Our Lumonics family of Excimer and CO2 pulsed gas lasers have a well-established heritage, from when Lumonics were the first industrial lasers of these types. From those early days, over many hundreds of installed systems, the Lumonics lasers have developed to today's excellent performance, low maintenance and high reliability industrial tools. Their specific properties uniquely qualify them for highly specialized industrial materials processing applications based on high-speed ablation, ablative laser drilling, laser machining or laser marking of plastics, polymers, ceramics and other non-metals. These applications include pharmaceutical capsule processing, precision laser machining of via holes in PCB and flex circuit structures, inkjet printer nozzle drilling and biomedical component manufacture.
