Fiber Lasers offer a new and exciting complementary technology to the world of industrial lasers. GSI has a strong tradition in bringing leading technology to the industrial laser market whilst delivering products that are rugged, easy to integrate and optimised for industrial applications. The JK™ FL range of Fiber Lasers has been designed from the ground up to give industrial laser users the optimum solution for their applications.
CW Nd:YAG lasers are the established technology for the highest levels of shop floor reliability and ease of use for laser welding and cutting applications. Our JK™ Lasers can be supplied with the patented Luminator™ fiber delivery options and laser processing tools. These ensure safe and reliable 3D manipulation of the laser beam and high performance interaction at the work piece.
Pulsed Nd:YAG lasers are ideally suited to challenging laser welding, cutting and drilling applications. Pulsed lasers are able to deliver small and precisely controlled amounts of energy to the workpiece whilst achieving minimal Heat Affect Zone (HAZ) during micro- welding and cutting processing.
The Spectron range of lamp pumped continuous wave (CW) Q-switched lasers are specifically designed to solve your laser marking applications. The SL900 series sets the standard for marking and scribing in all types of materials from hardened steel to plastic labels. The SL1300 series can be used when the application requires more power or higher speed and was specifically designed to meet the needs of deep engraving. In addition to that these lasers are used for a wide range of other applications including print roller creation, silicon scribing, gemstone processing and resistor trimming.
Gas lasers have developed into today's excellently performing, low maintenance and highly reliable industrial tools. Their specific properties, using speciality gases as a lasing medium, uniquely qualify them for highly specialised industrial materials processing applications. These are based on high-speed ablation, ablative laser drilling, laser machining or laser marking of plastics, polymers, ceramics and other non-metals. GSI offer a range of DC CO2 and eCO2 brands.

The Luminator™ fiber-optic system offers dynamic, rugged and reliable beam delivery to the modular range of Luminator™ process tools. The user can locate the laser remotely from the workstation and optimise the spot size, focus arrangements, gas options and viewing ancillaries.
